Cameras and Camcorders HELP!?
I need to move on from my old HV30 to something newer… I looked at 7D, 550D and Rebel 2Ti. All of them seem to have a great native 24p full 1080p mode picture. However, my only problem is that they are only 12 minutes at max recording… I am looking for hopefully a camcorder that will be able to perform at fairly close level with a price range below 1000.
Forgot to mention I also want it to record at 24p 1080 (hopefully) at longer time hopefully around 30 minutes+ per a memory card
the Canon Video DSLR’s do have very nice picture quality, but the things i don’t like about them are
1-They don’t have AutoFocus(Manual focus is fun/nice, but AutoFocus is REALLY nice)
2-You can only use the LCD screen to see the video you’re shooting(which wouldn’t be fun in the sunshine)
3-And they’re very shaky since they don’t have stabilization+their small body(small center of gravity).
Check out the Panasonic HDC-TM700… it’s a small/handheld camcorder, BUT, it DOES have Manual Focus(VERY nice), and it also has 3 CMOS sensors(Which is what’s found in most “full size” camcorders).
But my FAVORITE thing about the TM700 is that is has a 35mm lens on it!!! This is what gives you that Real-Life look that the 7D and 550D DLSR cameras have!!!
