HD camcorder suggestions?
I’m looking for an HD camcorder to replace my old Sony Handycam. I’m sick of using tapes and getting grainy or low quality footage. I also hate the hassle of exporting my footage with a firewire cable. I was thinking of getting something from Canon in their Vixia line, but they’re all really close to 1,000 dollars. I’m planning on using it to film outdoor activities and sports. Motocross, skateboarding, paintball, and airsoft to name a few. I won’t actually be participating while filming, I’ll of course be off the the side and filming the participants, but I need something that can take a little bit of abuse. Not saying that it had to be rugged, but it can’t be made of glass if you know what I mean. Anyway, I want to film in at least 720p and have it all digital… NO TAPES haha. Links are appreciated. Oh ya, i have a flip mino. I think I’d look stupid running around with a little cell phone looking camera. haha

But the Canon Vixias Are really nice!
I would also suggest brands like DXG & JVC. They Are Really Nice And amazing. They Just arent as well known as canon and sony! The Are Good Prices for what their camera are! I hope this helped!
