I have bought and returned 3 video cameras in the past two days because I can not upload videos to my computer! I call companies and tell me that the software that comes with video cameras (JVC, Samsung, Aiptek) is just to upload pictures, and I have to buy different software and things firewire. I just want a camera video that can upload videos to my laptop that i dont have to buy extra software!
Sony has a camcorder that records directly a mini-dvd. Once you finalize the disc, you can put on virtually any computer with a DVD-ROM. To put the video on your computer at this point is to drag and drop. Panasonic has one too. Prevent a because they use a DVD format that is mostly retirees.
