Canon Vixia HF20. What video editing software works with this model?
So guys, i just bought a Vixia HF20 HD video camera. its totally amazing. BUT….
it doesnt work with my editing software’s I have.
I use Showbiz 2.
I’m buying a new one soon, one that can do green screen, but I dont know what works with This Canon Model. Anyone have any Ideas? Or Recommend a software??

The Canon Vixia HF series record high definition video to very highly compressed AVCHD/MTS files.
The easiest would be to use a video editor that can deal with those files.
Since you gave us no information on your computer, we presume it has enough CPU speed, RAM and available hard drive space to meet – better yet, exceed – the minimum requirements for dealing with AVCHD/MTS files.
Sony Vegas and Adobe Premiere float to the top for Windows/Vista; iMovie ‘08 or newer and FinalCut (Pro or Express) are recommended for Macintosh.
AVCHD creates MTS files. They are VERY compressed. Many editing applications cannot deal with this relatively new video format.
