I love this camera. I do a lot of videography for local bands, so I'm in low light most part time and takes color very well. The other thing that impressed me was that the camera microphone is even better than a microphone boom (economic) I bought. I continued to use the camera microphone for quality stereo when a line input is not available. Totally recommend to anyone starting in the film / video.

This camera is fully customizable which is either fully automatic, manual or one of the two. It has 5 presets that can be customized. The interesting features of these presets is that you can get a Cineframe 24p, 30p (and cinetone) and 60i modes. The 24p and 30p refers to the "movie" setting. You can record in true widescreen 16:9 or 4:3 letterbox. HD mode, only 16:9 will. I do not hear someone say that widescreen is 4:3 enlarged, and its not. You can also connect headphones and a XLR adapter. This comes with 2-hour battery. There are only three things I have beef with about this camera. One of them is the fact that it has XLR inputs – you'd think that after spending 3K on a camera that got a little. 2: In It records in 1080i. Not exactly terrible. 1080i is not true HD, but it is 720p. True HD is 1920×1080p. However, recording at this high resolution means spending more money. 3: This thing can not record in 24p.
