This is in direct contrast with the use of film cameras like the old days, or recording images in an analog tape format magnetic as many video cameras. Multifunctional digital cameras today can take photographs and record sound and video. In markets around the world, the conventional 35 mm film counterparts have lagged far behind its modern avatars.
Along with technical performance, manufacturers focus also on ease of use, portability and price - of the factors driving consumer markets today. Therefore, either a camcorder or digital camera, is its ease of use and preference should influence the purchase decision more than anything more.
