Best Software For Video Editing

What is the best video editing software for me?
I need a simple (non-professional) video editing software for my home videos. I want to be able to change the voice of the people (through the speed). I also have to reverse some videos. It would be nice if you have other features like effekts etc thanks
From my experience, no applications good or bad for video editing, is just what you find comfortable to use. I started with the MPEG video wizard as it is very intuitive and easy to use. Then Ulead moved to, then to Las Vegas Pro, Premiere Pro Now then, returning to MPEG Video Wizard DVD cos it's really great for MPEG editing. Some posters recommend on adobe, it is a great video editing software, but I think that is right for you. It is a professional software video editing requires a learning curve is too steep and too heavy to use. From what you said, I think it could be MPEG video wizard. You can meet your needs and is very easy to learn for beginners. We could go to his website (http://womble.com/) to download a trial version and mess with him.
What is the best video editing software for an iBook G4 Mac?
I have an iBook G4, which comes with iMovie. The problem with it if you upload to the Internet when a site like YouTube, titles are blury and stuff. I'm shooting with a Sony MiniDV Handycam. If there is a way to fix this, please let me know. Also if there are any good free video editing software out there for mac. Thanks in advance.
Try QuickMix free, link below. Consider iLife for around $ 80 that has several nifty applications including iMovie, which is great.
