I have searched the web including al the battery sites, gone to the SVP web site (appears to be down as no answer) and no luck. If the originals cannot be found, is there any replacements?

Battery failure on the camcorder takes video loss
A digital camera functions on the same principle as any other disk makes it hard. It uses a process of reading and writing to record videos on memory card (or other storage device being used). You can not predict when the battery on the camcorder begins to malfunction. This sometimes leads to problems with the process of reading and writing the card, making videos about it as inaccessible. You should always keep a backup of the videos on another storage device. If for some reason you have no backup, or is inaccessible, you can always use a video recovery software to retrieve video and other files on the card.
A common example that can come across is when you is away on vacation and camcorder sign reads 'low battery'. You still keep clicking on the pictures until the battery is completely discharged and the camcorder then turns off.
The camcorder uses a read-write data logging process on the card. Changing the camera in the middle of this read-write causes data processing thereon become inaccessible. When the camcorder battery is low, and moved out, taking a video, the writing process is interrupted. On the other hand, if you are using to view the videos already on the card, the reading process is breaking. In both cases, the video (and others) File not available.

You should always back up the videos taken. If you have one then, after formatting the card to retrieve the videos from the backup. It can penetrate the file system format and retrieve old data from the deleted partition.
