Operation
This camera is capable of either high quality digital photographs sequential shooting of up to five frames per second, or digital video. A removable 2.5-inch LCD screen folds for compact storage unit.
Storage and Transfer
In addition to its 40 MB of internal flash storage, SDHC and standard SD memory cards can be insert. Using high quality MPEG4 compression, this camera stores high quality video into small digital files. USB cable is provided for the transfer files to a computer, and an S-Video adapter allows playback on a TV.

Additional Comments
Since Windows Media Player does not natively support MPEG4 format used by the video camera, software or codecs is required to view video shot from the camera on a PC. Only property Sanyo USB cables for the Xacti credit can be used, although substitutes are available the company. Because the camera does not run off USB power when connected to the computer, the battery will be exhausted at the time connected to the computer.
Conclusions
Despite the limitations that the use of proprietary parts and accessories, the Xacti VPC-CG9 digital camcorder from Sanyo offers high quality picture or video from a sleek and compact. Like all minor limitations can be solved, this unit at a reasonable price can provide a great functionality without burning a hole in your wallet.
