Why people give up their puppies and dogs for company so easily?
I was going by a local forum, which today is something like craigslist. I went through company announcements and there were lots of animals to sell or give away. The excuse common than we saw was that I have no time for him. I also saw that is too active, or my children or allergic. I would like to see those same people looking for a new dog in either the same day or next day. I also saw the puppies and dogs are sold for almost anything. They were being traded for tanks fish, game systems, other puppies, etc. It made me realize how ignorant people in my area really are. So I have two questions. Number one: Why people give up their dogs so early and call them untrained? Number two: What situations do you think is acceptable to give up an animal? What I mean my children are allergic Oh yeah, and I saw a lot of messages saying "makes great gift for Valentine's Day" today.
1) people take their dogs for many reasons. Most of them due to irresponsibility on their part .... The dog is at will and are not really ready for this (economic or other). They get a dog based on looks and realize that the dog grows and is not "so good" because he thought it would. give their children begging and whining. They want that one because someone has one. This is a "cool" what to do. 2) Good reasons for a dog back home are few and far between. Realizing that the dog fits your lifestyle is a good reason to go home even though research First, the decision would have avoided the need to take - is much better than going home to have a dog that will not be able to predict. It will not make the dog any good if you can not provide veterinary care. 3) All in all, I agree it is deplorable to dump a dog and immediately get a different - especially if the same or similar race. Is irresponsible trade in an animal in a gaming system. I blame the stupidity and the irresponsibility of parents who teach their children differently.
