I got these because i thought I would need a cover for my Flip. But one actually comes with it (a drawstring pouch). I liked the circle clips on this, but its a very tight fit and i ended up putting the circle clip on the cover provided with the actual camera. You really don’t need these.

The flip camera comes with a sock, of which I was unaware, had I known I would not have gotten these. That being said, it is what it is: A small piece of cloth that holds the camera.

Don’t get this

I got this as a free accessory when I bought the flip camcorder and I have not used it once. Two small stretchy cases with clips are included. They are too small to reasonably fit the flip, so if you actually are able to wrangle it on, it is very inconvenient to remove it and use the camcorder. The little microfiber drawstring bag that came with the camera is much more useful. I would not recommend this to anyone and had I paid for it I would have returned it.

I mostly like the cover but find getting the camera in & out of the pouch a little awkward, find myself putting my thumb on the camera lens. Might be due to arthritis in my hands.

This item WILL fit the Flip camera!

Okay, I was hesitant when my son picked this item for his Flip. I had read the reviews saying that it wouldn’t fit, but since it was offered free when we bought the Flip I figured we could always use it for something else…maybe a cell phone case.

When we got it there was no way it would actually fit the Flip as it was, but it IS wool, so I knew it would stretch. I found a household item (a cough syrup bottle) that was curved and would slide in a bit easier, but was about the size of the Flip. It took about 2 minutes of stretching to get the wool to give enough to be able to fit the Flip into the pouch. Now it slides in and out of the case with no problem. My son keeps the Flip in the pouch when he isn’t using it.

I admit it wasn’t convenient to have to stretch the pouch myself, but it will fit your camera if you want it to.

Why was this bundled with a Flip Ultra?

Well, it seems like it might be a nice case for keeping your Flip Mino in your purse, if you carry a purse. Unfortunately, it came as part of a bundle with the Flip Ultra that I bought my wife, so it is worthless to us. We’ll probably just toss it.

Don’t waste your time nor money on this

This is the only product I’ve ever returned to Amazon. Flip should stop producing these until they are going to make them to fit the cameras. There’s no way to get the camera into this pouch.

Bait and Switch!

This was one of the items that was offered for free after I purchased my flip camera around Christmas. Upon receiveing this I realized that it was for a different model and did not even fit my camera. Since I got free shipping with the camera and accessories there was not point in sending this back for something else. Amazon should do a better job at filtering out the accessories that correspond with items they are selling.

Don’t buy this pouch from ANTOnline or for the 8 G Flip

I bought the 8 gig Flip UltraHD Camcorder, 120 Minutes (Black) for my wife and this pouch was, while pricey, purple, her favorite color. ANTOnline charged me what I believe was excessive shipping fees even for a pre-Xmas rush job. The item was about $15 and S & H was $17. I tried to protest with Amazon who handled my complaint so poorly that I’ll never do business with it again. Worst yet, the pouch DID NOT FIT THIS FLIP and yet ANTOnline posted the pouch with it as if it did. It is too short and doesn’t cover the entire device.

It does not come close to fitting the flip camera -what a waste

What a waste of time and money. Even though I got the money credited back, because it was a free gift item. Damn glad I did not pay money. Sure wish I had picked a different free gift. I hate it and it is good for nothing! It does not fit anything! I do not know what they were thinking! I will really watch what I buy from Amazon.com from now on.

As the other reviewer noted, this pouch is incorrectly advertised by Amazon as suitable for the Flip UltraHD, but that camera is too big for the pouch. (The package indicates that it is for Flip Mino and MinoHD, so Amazon needs to correct their database…)

Using the FlipShareTV Device

The FlipShareTV device consists of a wireless communication link between your TV set and any one of your home computers. By cabling your FlipShareTV to your TV set via an HDMI cable (not included)and having your FlipShare videos stored in your home computer you can select videos to be played on your TV set. The video selected must be stored on a computer within wireless range of the TV set.

A remote control for the wireless communications link to communicate with your computer and a USB “key” (supplied) must be plugged into a USB port on the computer. This completes the link from the TV and the FlipShareTV device to the computer and its store of videos. In addition to videos stored on the local computer, FlipShareTV also allows you to log into one of your Flip Channels and also select videos from there for viewing on your TV.

Using this device allows you to access all of your videos rather than just the ones that might be on your Flip video-cam. Carrying your FlipShareTV, an HDMI cable and a laptop computer makes you ready to show your videos on any HD TV.

Do not waste your money

First the good news.

I was able to set this system up and start watching videos in less than 30 minutes. (15 of those minutes was spent running to radio Shack to buy a HDMI cable.)
The video quality and sound were outstanding.

Now the bad.

The receiver cannot be more then 7 feet from USB fob. If you are using a laptop, in the same room, you will be beyond pleased at the results. If your desk top is in another room, forget it.
As other reviewers have stated, why on earth would a company make such a low powered system? Additionally, the cost for the,not included, HDMI cable is outrageous. And, if you need to share a single HDMI slot you’ll need an HDMI splitter. The splitter and two cables cost almost as much as the device that won’t work from my desktop.

Easy, easy, easy

I bought the FlipShare TV for my wife for Christmas. She has and loves her Flip
Video HD Recorder. I was concerned because she is electronically challenged (think Any Key). The FS TV is the easiest piece of electronics to install I’ve ever experienced. She is able to bring her laptop into the TV viewing room, plug the sender unit into her laptop and the rest is automatic. Couldn’t be easier!

Made for an apartment…or smaller

I purchased this product hoping to be able to share the videos on my PC in one room with my big screen in another room, same floor, less than 30 feet away, wood construction home and nothing large and metallic in the way. Reading the press and the marketing on this product one would conclude that what I wanted to do was a reasonable thing to be accomplished by the Flip Share TV. Oops. the wireless network USB key has barely enough power output to reach line of sight 20 feet with consistent video streaming. I mean I put it on a notebook, sat in the same room and it could barely maintain signal between the units…shame on Flip/Cisco!! Well try and talk to tech support and they say moronic things like “it is impossible to tell what could be happening based on the type of construction in your home…” etc. and then have the gall to ask if this support answer was helpful! Pathetic! If you are offering a wireless…the key here is WIRELESS!!!…you should have enough power output to actually BE wireless. Sitting with a notebook, 5 feet from the TV is simply stupid and a poor excuse for WIRELESS. Oh wait it gets better…I purchased a wireless extender hoping that I could obtain the WAP encryption code in order to simply boost the pathetic signal and guess what…nope, the WAP is proprietary and therefore not available. But “I hope this answer was helpful”!!! No you idiots, this is not a helpful answer. Tell me how I can overcome this poor excuse of a wireless product so I do not have to return it.
Bottom line is this…buy someone else’s product and NOT Flip. They have image stabilization and god willing their tech support actually has graduated from some sort of technical school AND had some people skills. This is company that does not deserve to be in business when there are so many other options out there. Do not buy this product. (by the way, we like the video unit and use it all the time but it is the support…or lack thereof for image stabilization…and their supporting technology that completely sucks.

The product header and description specifically say Li-Ion battery, but the battery that was shipped to me is NiMH. Upon closer inspection of the product photo, you can clearly see the battery in the photo is NiMH. I would not have purchased this if I had known the batteries were the same that came with my FlipHD.

Product is NiMH NOT Li-Ion

Price is right if it was Li-Ion but too high for NiMH which is what I received.

Called Amazon for a replacement and 2nd one received is also NiMH. Amazon made me pay postage to return the first one and not one apology or thought that the product is listed wrong on their site no matter how many times I said something.

That’s the beauty of non American, Off-Shore customer “Service” it doesn’t cost much and you really don’t get much for your money.

And Jeff Bezos., you wonder why I really don’t buy much from your company. If Amazon fulfills a product and doesn’t get it right or care, why should I trust all the other vendors on the site!

Flip Video Cables- too short

I like having the three cables but all three are too short. If you’re using this on a desk with your laptop, they are great but when it comes to our desktop, we would need something closer to 2 or 3ft in length to reach from the back of the tower to the top of the desk.

This Cord Set is Wonderful

I had read all these previous reviews and decided to purchase and try. A few people were complaining that theirs didn’t fit the camera. I decided I would purchase the cords and if they didn’t fit I would send them back. They all work fine. I have two flips the regular flip and now a HD flip. The cords work with both. You get 3 cords because they are different sizes. This is great! I use the longer cord with my desktop computer that I originally had to plug my camera into the tower part of my coputer and it would have to hang by the arm of the camera while charging or transfering video. I knew someday I would bump it or something and possiable break the arm on the camera. This swing arm on the flip works very well with my laptop, just not my desktop. Okay back to the cord, if I only had one short size I would have had it still hanging due to where my tower to my computer is. I love having the 3 cords to fit whatever need I have. It is old that people complain they only need one, they knew there were three in the box when purchasing and then they still complain because they got what they paid for, who would have figured that would ever happen.
Great product, I would highly recommend.

Great accessory for Flip

These little cords are easy to take along and keep the pressure off the USB port arm on the flip. Also great if things are a tight fight where the USB may be located on your computer.

Stuff and nonsense…

Cute, but if it is necessary to have the usb extender in the color of your Flip, I’d think it would be included with the camcorder. And this begs the question, if it is about designer matching, are we just getting 2 unmatching cables free with purchase? I guess you could share the extras with your friends; or maybe buy several Flips to match the colors of the cords. On a practical level, you can find quality branded 1′ and 3′ usb extender cables on amazon for less than five dollars. Hmmmm… The white 18″ cable shown connected to the Flip looks perfect…
