I just received my Flip MinoHD, 2nd generation, Mail overnight is to install a new generation of FlipShare – Version 5.0 and am having some problems with that. Meanwhile, while I was beginning to digest the changes in FlipShare 4.5 FlipShare 5.0 adds another list of capabilities, and not even seem have been announced: FlipShare TV.
While delving into the new FlipShare 5.0 help file, I found the following capabilities:
- Upload your content to Facebook Â
- The key full-screen controls and switch to full screen mode without losing your position play play
- Channel Flip Allow recipients to return to share and download
- Delete the contents that you wish to share their channels Flip
- Import content not FlipShare in FlipShare
- Copy the content back to the camcorder (HD For Mino, Ultra IIs)
- Displaying content in FlipShare TV
- Optimized video quality when shared with Facebook, MySpace and YouTube FlipShare using
- "Oldest first" order in the work area
- The creation of Easy movie with Movie magic
I will take these in the order I find most interesting.
FlipShare TV
Quoting from the help file, TV FlipShare is an "integrated solution to view its contents in TV. Flip (FlipShare TV requires the purchase of TV FlipShare – TV Stand.) "A key seems to be a USB transmitter that plugs into your computer, and a base connected to your TV. then can view the contents of FlipShare on your TV using a remote control.
Now, I consider myself fairly well with Google, but could find no mention of the "TV base "related Flip. found mention of a new Flip Video TM Premium Service Plan that provides extended support for covering Flip video cameras and FlipShareTV. also found that someone has registered the following domains:
- flipshare-tv.com
- flipshare-tv.net
Import content in FlipShare not FlipShare
Again, quoting aid FlipShare: Â "You can now import some types of non-FlipShare videos and image files FlipShare. For example, you might want to import video footage and photos you have taken with FlipShare another digital camera, so it can be mixed with video clips taken with the Flip Video for a movie. "
Video quality optimized when shared with Facebook, MySpace and YouTube using FlipShare
I have, in fact, has already uploaded a video to Facebook, and it looks really nice. I stuck trying to make a movie – is in the area where I am experiencing errors in software – but it seems that from the latter FlipShare version, you get ratings HD are available everywhere.
Is the Flip video camera as well as a camera can take pictures?
I want a new camera and perhaps a video camera, but I was wondering is it both?
