Need help to fix my camera!?
worth http://www.radarthis.com/images/panasonic-PV-GS32-digital-camcorder.jpg I have this camera and have had for about 2 years and today I saw that the shipper my laptop had the same hole in the shape of what my camera Wire (is a cable that connects to the camera and connect the other end into an electrical outlet so you do not have to use the battery) I used the charger from the laptop to see if it would work and now my camera will not turn on Did I do something? is actually broken? Do I just need to cool? Are there other ways of fixing the side to get it repaired?
Assuming that you connected the laptop charger in the DC IN port the camcorder (which is what it seems because they say that the holes were similar), you have most likely fried power of your camcorder. Always check the amplifier or the number of watts in a charger (which will be printed on the wall wart itself) and make sure it matches what your device needs. The portable charger probably has a higher rating, and the camera could not handle. I give up trying to get it repaired. A repair cost almost the same as a new camcorder, and charge you $ 100 just to look.
