I've been using my Casio Exilim Zoom digital camera as a video camera. I prefer using it since it compact. My main concern is the need to purchase Additional items for operation, just like a normal video camera. I had to buy a memory card to use your quality video function DR. This is the advantage of a camcorder.
The HD 720p Creative Labs Vado Pocket Video Camcorder is really nice and a bit expensive compared with Kodak Zi6 and Flip from Pure Digital MinoHD. Honestly looks like a mobile phone or simply a friction toy camera. It is soft in its design, compared with MinoHD. His positive factor is its functionality.
One thing I really look for in digital or video cameras is the size of the screen. Ford has a great glare 2 inch screen. This is already a factor for me. I have the Cybershot W230 model, I really like them. I would go with that one, I'm not a big fan of Kodak anyway. For me, Kodak disposable camera is only good, they are not really any account when it comes to digital cameras and camcorders. The Cybershots take decent video images as well and are fairly easy to use. Edited to add: Since video and put it on a DVD is very easy to do with the Cybershots. I do a lot of pictures to take of my children. It is also useful if you ever interested in something to the network load as well.
