GL2 audio!!!?
im contemplating getting a canon Gl2 and i have seen rave reviews by pros over the camera, however, many of the user forums state problems with audio. i know i have asked this same question numerous times but its a serious investment that i feel i need to research first. so if anybody who has a canon GL2 could attest to the audio complaints or tell me their general rating of the camera i would appreciate it. Also any toher important facts aboutt he camcorder? and any vital accesories? THANX
I actually have the Canon XL2, and I’ve never had a problem with the audio on that, but I’d be a bit more hesitant with the GL2, since it’s microphone is built in and therefor (I believe) not interchangable. Therefor, if you had any audio problems, it wouldn’t just be a simple matter of swapping out the microphones. That could be where the complaints about audio problems come from.
