What to buy a JVC Everio GZ-HD40 and Canon HV30 MiniDV HD?
They are both about the same price. I'm trying to shoot some high quality video. (Semi-Pro) My sister tells me the MiniDV give better image quality, I'm not sure. The Canon has optical image stabilizer. GB 120 The Everio GZ 5 hours of Full HD recording power is tempting. Which should I choose?
HV30. Continued HV20 full feature set and more. Why is that hard disk space so tempting? So when the hard disk crashes can lose the whole video has not been transferred? So when you delete the video is gone forever (unless you created the discs of file) instead of the miniDV tape does not being reused is the file? Or is that when you really want to watch the video to edit on an HDTV, there is no method to get the final video project hard drive - but with a miniDV tape, export the project to the camcorder and use the camcorder, a tape deck connected to playback high definition television HDMI cable? Your sister is right, certainly ... 24p and the establishment of the HV30 can also provide a more "filmlike" image that the JVC can not do ... Not to mention using the JVC AVCHD anemia, which can be a challenge in all but the fastest, most current computers with large memory RAM (4 gig +) large (500 gig +) hard disk apart from the launch of unity and a lot available launch drive space ...
