Recommended FULL HD SLR Camera / Camcorder?
Hey I'm looking for a professional digital SLR camera or camcorder that has videos of Nice in 24p or 20p FULL HD 1080p max. I'm thinking about getting T1i 500D/KISS CANON EOS REBEL SLR $ 700 Canon Hf20/Hf200 something (Camcorder) Canon Vixia HG20 Canon HV30/40 Thanks .. I want one that has quality videos bluray or something similar .. You know when you're watching a movie whenever someones speak at the scene fades out and focuses on the speaker and also a bit blur the background behind them ... Does Canon have that feature T1i approach a little?
Most of the current crop of digital SLRs that become capable of capturing video only audio can be mono - not stereo. Since audio is an important part of the video experience, you need this in mind. Using a field audio recorder (Zoom, Tascam, Edirol, M-Audio and many others) is recommended for stereo audio capture. This requires additional steps when editing to import and synchronize audio - then mute the audio was captured with the video ... Stay away from AVCHD - too much compression. Stay out of the hard drive-based camcorders because of its known problems with vibration and altitude - and issues of data recovery when the drive crashes. This leaves the HV30/HV40. These capture MiniDV tape. The computer must have a FireWire port - USB not working, USB-to-FireWire cable / converter / adapter is not working. DV and HDV video format remains the professional of choice - as evidenced by the continued use of DV / HDV format and Canon XH series XLH, Sony HVR series and JVC GY-series camcorders HM ... and the proprietary formats of Sony HDCAM / XDCAM and Panasonic DVCPRO HD Camcorders in the series. The effect you mention is "the depth of field. This is typically a video camera prosumer and pro - grade capacity available when the shutter speed and manual focus is used in a specific way - and the change of one in focus to another track called racking. I do that with my humble Sony HDR-HC1 - easier to do with my HDR-FX1. The Canon digital SLR should be able to do that with any lens capable of providing DOF. Also should HV30/HV40 (without an add-on) - some people add a 35mm lens attached more easily accomplish this effect, but since the family camcorder uses an approach regulation instead of a manual focus ring, it might be difficult not to shake the camera when going through focus. The cheapest camcorder with an approach Ring - with all other requirements - is probably the Sony HVR-Z5. Maybe the Canon XHA1.
