worth I have a Samsung SCL860 Hi8 Camcorder. I got some time so we only have the power to charge the battery. I need to know which cable (s) need purchase in order to connect to my computer, so I make a DVD. If you can help me with this it would be great. I have to do a commercial for a class. From what I can see, there are points "s-video", "DC IN" and "A / V OUT"
Hi8 camcorders are analog, so it is not able to connect directly to a port on the computer. You will need to convert video to digital video through a converter. I suggest the Nokia Video ADS ($ 49). Comes with software editing and will do what you need to do. Good luck!
