problem downloading the software Canon camcorder? plz help?
i bought a canon digital video camera and now trying to connect to the computer. i already installed 2 cd that comes with this camcorder. for some right when I connect to my computer .. PC does not detect anything attached to it .. so I tried with some other teams .. but I have the same problem. I tried different cable just to confirm if the cable is ... so what I realized is that my PC by cable and both work well. Then I tried the software that came with it. only to confirm that the software is working fine .. I've tried uninstalling everything and clean up the fragments of this software using window cleaning utility. but now when I install this software again from the CD. shows that your computer is already present in the Uruguay Round and no need to install ... so cud someone tell me what to do now .... I'm trying for 4 hours and I can not find any solution. plzzzzzzzzzzz and help ...
To upload a video file from a camera that has to activate a film program like Windows Movie Maker. When activated it searches the port is connected the video camera and if the unit is turned "on" the video mode that will give you a video camera connected message and ask you to input video. The buttons in the software of the movie screen is lit camera and upload the video to your hard drive.
Using the MacBook Pro laptop as a monitor for my Canon camcorder??
OK I'll be as specific as possible. I have a ZR90 digital video camcorder from Canon. I have a Macbook Pro, which is approximately 2 years old. The camcorder has AV output and I'm trying to see if I can get my Macbook to project live video of the camera as you are recording. The main reason is for an experiment at hand. I do not want to go buy a small screen TV to use as a monitor when you can, possibly, just use my computer laptop. - A / V VGA cable work ?????? or A / V - Firewire ????? A / V - USB ?????? If anyone can help me with this I really appreciate it. I'm not looking to actually use the camera to feed directly into the film production software. I am in need of a live monitor especially for visibility only. photo booth would pick up on this or I'll have to download a program? Thanks!
AV is analog, compound (connector Yellow RCA) video output. No action MacBook Pro AV-in analog. The VGA connection is out of the MacBook Pro to a monitor only. * You can use an * AV external "analog / digital" as the ADVC55 or Canopus ADVC110, but not think you need to ... Do not bother with any video through USB MacBook Pro - it will not work ... The easiest way - if the ZR90 and MacBook Pro all have to work - is to get a 4-pin to 9-pin FireWire cable. I'm assuming MacBook Pro features a 9-pin FireWire port. Launch iMovie and can monitor it from there. I would not recommend the use PhotoBooth because the resolution is not so good like. BUT iMovie, a video camera was not intended to be a "surveillance" of the camera and most likely be shut down after a few minutes because that is what it is designed to do. That * might * stay on if connected to AC. But you have another problem - I think ... Ie cables firewire can not exceed 15 feet. We do not know how far the camera has to be from the review team. If the camera has to be greater than 15 feet, then goes digital converter analog path can be the only way: out. Neither my MacBook Pro, or miniDV tape based camcorder were intended to do whatever he wants. The results may not meet your needs. I would not do - this is not an issue MacBook Pro - problems are the same for any operating system and laptop. This is not a problem ZR90 - camcorders are designed to record video surveillance cameras will not be, sending a live feed or as a webcam.
