Is there anything preventing me from doing so?
I want to extend the life of my video camera to the shooting area. Even the best batteries from the camera, but only seem to last an hour or two at most, and the prosumer level does not look like I can use regular batteries. Now I have an Energizer portable outlet I use my laptop to power in way, and was thinking it would be much cheaper and last much longer to just stick out in my backpack and take me with the camcorder connected during actual filming. But I learned that actually filming with a video camera attached is cause static noise problems and others. I will be using a external microphone ever, but since its connected to the camera via an XLR port, I've heard yet the cause of the problem. Could there really is no problem with me, just using a simple $ 40 it takes is a bit bulkier instead of paying a few hundred to a smaller battery with a life short? Thanks!
