what would be the best camcorder for me?
I am after a 1080p camcorder. I would like something around the 20x zoom, bit more or less would be ok but nothing under 15. I would also like the ability to do slow motion if possible as i am going on safari and am hoping to get some good slow mo on a kill but if not possible to get one with the other requirements I can skip it. I would love it to be smaller rather than bulky. What would be the best camcorder to suit me? Would also like still frames to be over 4mp if possible.
Slow motion would be done at the time of editing, because by the time you have tried to select you settings it would be all over.
What for mat are you looking for, and at what budget. Personally for the quality I would be looking at Mini-dv (tape) when its full you just bang in another tape. you don’t have to worry about filling up a HDD or buying expensive flash cards You would not record in anything than in the highest quality.
As for your stills you area better off getting a dedicated stills camera,
