What kind of camera should I buy? 10 Points!?
I need a new camcorder, but I'm not sure about the hard drive based. So far, getting the lowest of the comments on the quality of video regardless of brand. I'm not looking to enter the film industry, just to capture family moments. Is this one of the DVD or Mini. Please help with your entry. 10 points to best answer!
I am not sure of the high-tech knowledge how much you have, but MiniDV camcorders are the way forward for the low price and quality. Make sure you have a FireWire port on your computer and get a FireWire cable, and you can transfer all images to be shot in the MiniDV tape on your computer, edit it, save it, burn it to DVD or whatever you want. For pure simplicity of use ... I guess MiniDVD video cameras would be quite simple as that fire burns it to DVD so that what you shot. I'm not sure what the quality is though. Personally, I use MiniDV tape based cameras of all my films. As brands go, a JVC, Canon, Sony or the camera is probably your best bet.
