I can not find some software for my video camera?
I have a video camera, Hitachi, and the software we have does not work, so I need to download another. The problem is that I have to download a thing called "ImageMixer 3 AVCHD Edition for HITACHI", but when I google it, only comes with the update. The program will not let me install it because you need the older software of this, but I do not know how to get ... so how can I get it? HELP!

I have a canon GL1 camcorder and was wondering if there is any software that can use (you can even i) to edit videos and such.
Almost any half decent editor video can handle standard definition DV format digital video. Even MovieMaker (included with Windows XP - Service Pack 2 or higher - including Vista). You need a FireWire cable to connect the DV port on the camcorder to the computer's FireWire port. USB will not work. USB to FireWire converter / adapter / hub / cables will not work. If your computer has a FireWire port, is expected to have an available expansion slot so you can add one. In this context, FireWire, IEEE1394, i.LINK and DV are the same thing ... and not USB. MinDV with tape-based camcorder connected via FireWire, power on the camera and put it into play or VCR mode. Launch your video editor and import or capture video.
